Seaweed Bath & Shower Treatments

"Water signifies the spiritual things of faith. To give water signifies the common influx of truth" (Swedenborg. 5668)

These bath-care recipes (page 62-66) are simple ways to include seaweed in your everyday skin-care routine. When I began experimenting with seaweed, I started to add a small amount of the Serum (page 9) to my store-bought skin care products for added moisturizing properties - and the effects were outstanding. Over time, the amount of Serum kept increasing until I realized that there was a limit to the amount of moisturizing effects that could be obtained by merely adding it to soap.

Although soap is the perfect preservative, and the recipes keep at room temperature for months, it is exactly that, a preservative. Therefore, if you are going to wait for the perfect store-bought seaweed Serum to come on the market, it will not happen without chemicals. Better to have a friend make it for you, or stick with these bath-care recipes preserved with soap.

About the Bath Care Recipes

I cannot explain why these bath and shower treatment recipes work so well, such as the deodorant, or the hair rinse. The brown kelp (page 6) makes everything feel clean and moisturized.

A scientist might be able to explain why Kelp has such luxuriant qualities, but no scientist has ever been able to make broccoli last a month at room temperature without adding many chemicals. Seaweed is just the same as broccoli, best when fresh or dried and second best, when it is frozen - preserved any other chapters, which include more skin-friendly ingredients.
